Built with love, labor, and the hands of three generations, the land featured in Habitats; Over Seven Years, A Family Builds 2-Story Log House,  —a New York Times  (2001) article—now lives on as The Design Farm, a nonprofit rooted in the Cleary family’s vision of stewardship, creativity, and sustainability. 

What began as a hand-built log home is now a haven for artists and nature lovers, preserving the land’s legacy while supporting creative exploration, environmental preservation, and protecting the property from future development.
